Magpie has been shortlisted for Best Public Sector & Not-for-Profit Campaign at the 2026 Prolific North Marketing Awards.

The shortlist recognises our work with NHS North East and North Cumbria on the Are your medicines stacking up? campaign. Winners will be announced on 19 November 2026. The awards celebrate great work from across the marketing industry.

About the campaign

Taking medicines over a long period can raise important questions.

Are your medicines still right for you? Do you know what you’re taking and why? Could it be time for a review?

Our Are your medicines stacking up? campaign aimed to help people think about the medicines they take, when they order them and whether they still need them.

The campaign used the message ‘Are your medicines working for you?’ to encourage open conversations between patients and healthcare professionals.

It also encouraged people to take the next step. They could book a free NHS medicine review and talk about their medication with a healthcare professional.

By making these conversations easier to start, the campaign aimed to help people feel more confident about asking questions.

The shortlist reflects the work of everyone involved. We’re grateful to our partners at NHS North East and North Cumbria for their trust, collaboration and shared commitment to making a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the campaign to life.

We’ll be cheering on all the finalists when the winners are announced on 19 November.
