An Innovative Rebrand and New Website

EEUK: Enabling excellence in enterprise education.

A bold and innovative rebrand and website for Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK). They chose us to work on refreshing their ‘outdated’ brand and website at a key time of their business development – in the build-up to the full launch of Enterprise Educators Global.

Enterprise Educators UK is the UK’s national membership organisation for enterprise and entrepreneurship educators in Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE).

Their 100+ members are mainly UK universities, and the people who benefit from their services are mostly enterprise and entrepreneurship educators and practitioners who work within the curriculum and on extra-curricular programmes.

Enterprise Educators UK main focus is to enable their members to exchange good practice, as well as to raise awareness of the work their members do. They do this through a whole host of channels including their website, newsletter, social media networks and successful events.

Our brief was split into two parts:

The first was to conduct an in-depth review of the Enterprise Educators UK brand and identity – we needed to find out from their target audience and stakeholders exactly what they wanted out of the organisation, and in turn, the brand identity.

Once we had this sussed, the power was in our hands to research, create and roll out a full rebrand and website for Enterprise Educators UK.

Objectives of the brief

  • Launch the new Enterprise Educators UK brand with current members and encourage them to keep their membership.
  • To encourage sign ups of new members, from HE and FE, plus enterprising businesses.
  • To raise Enterprise Educators UK’s profile among policy makers and make them visible as being a world leader in enterprise education.

The development of the new brand identity and website design were all heavily influenced by the insight we did with key internal stakeholders and the organisation’s target audiences. We held a workshop to find out the key values and USPs of Enterprise Educators UK, as well as to learn about the ambitions of the team and what this new brand needed to communicate to their audiences.

We found that the new brand needed to be bolder, more impactful, and have a confidence to shout about the great work Enterprise Educators UK does. Themes of connectivity and community were really important, so we made sure they were at the heart of our concepts.

Enterprise Educators UK’s brand proposition is to connect, learn and inspire, so we needed to reflect this sentiment throughout the entire brand, including the logo, illustrations and brand assets.

We focused on the letter ‘E’, drawing upper and lowercase letters and then experimented with connecting the lines in different ways to symbolise the strong membership network – which is one of the best qualities about Enterprise Educators UK. We chose bold and vibrant colours to reflect the core brand principles and made sure all infographics and illustrations mirrored the ‘connectivity’ of the logo.

“Love the new brand, so fresh!"

“This brand is clean and the strong identity is easily recognisable. Whilst the colours are vibrant and impactful, the graphics are exciting and contemporary.”
