Last night (30 November), all our Make Believers came together for the official unveiling of the 10 bespoke pieces of artwork, all in aid of Cash for Kids.
The Make Believe charity exhibition took place at Victoria Gate shopping centre to officially launch the artwork – each based on a classic children’s novel – to members of the public as well as our fellow creatives!
The event saw Victoria Gate’s lower shopping floor transformed into an enchanting evening of ‘Make Believe’ complete with green fizz, bagel canapes, courtesy of Bagel Nash, as well as a special performance of fairytale classics from a Leeds College of Music pianist.
The funds raised from the Make Believe initiative will be donated to Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas appeal, which helps to ensure disadvantaged children receive a gift on Christmas Day.
All the artwork is now available to buy as a print, greetings card, coaster set or mug at makebelieveleeds.com thanks to our print partner Awesome Merchandise.
We would also like to thank Orange 21 for supporting the initiative by printing our exhibition boards free of charge, as well as the 10 agencies who used their creativity for good this festive season.
Happy shopping!
