Community Engagement Coordinator

Are you confident, proactive and personable? Magpie is looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to work alongside the team, engaging with community groups across Leeds to deliver a good cause campaign. This is a part-time, flexible role offered on a fixed-term contract.

We’re looking for someone who has an interest in working with charity and community groups to improve health and wellbeing across Leeds. You’ll need to be confident speaking to members of the public, have excellent communication skills and an ability to inspire people to get involved.

If you have a valid driving license and access to a car, please include this in your application. This will be beneficial when visiting communities, however you will still be able to do the role effectively without driving.

Working alongside the campaign promotion team, you’ll be integral to ensuring that our campaigns are making an impact in the community.

£10 per hour.

Working hours are flexible but you will need to commit to 12 hours a week. This will be a mix of working from Magpie’s city centre studio, as well as working remotely. All hours will be agreed in advance to fit around your other commitments.
