Whether we’re brainstorming our next big idea, conducting on the ground research for a new project, or visiting our clients – it’s never a dull day at Magpie. Today, Helena tells us about a typical day as client services director.
Hi I’m Helena and I’m client services director here in the Magpie nest. I oversee our client services processes and team, and ensure all of our clients have full confidence in the quality of our service.
My role is incredibly varied day to day. Split between overseeing the management of projects in the studio and working with the team to ensure we are meeting our service levels, through to meeting clients to discuss future briefs, or just having a general check in to ensure they are happy with our service.
It’s my responsibility to ensure we take on all client feedback and learnings and continually develop our service to keep exceeding client expectations and create raving fans!
You’re most likely to find me…
Split between the office and out meeting our clients. I may be working with the client services team to check in and support on project status and delivery, at my desk managing some of our larger campaign projects, or out having a catch up with our clients to discuss forthcoming opportunities. No two weeks are the same!
The best part of my day is…
I get to meet such a variety of people and businesses through our client base, and I can use my expertise to ensure they get the best service from Magpie. I love meeting new clients and learning about what is important to their organisation, then working with our team to deliver +1 service and make them really happy.
Not your usual day in the office…
Through my 6 years at Magpie I’ve done a lot and seen a lot! No idea is too big or too ‘out there’ for us, and it’s common for us to have an office full of random materials ready for the next campaign! From inflatable sheep, foam hands, enormous red balloons, and hundreds of bags of pick ‘n’ mix, it’s always fun to hear about what’s happening next!
