Whether we’re brainstorming our next big idea, conducting on the ground research for a new project, or visiting our clients – it’s never a dull day at Magpie. Today, Becky tells us about a typical day as one of our co-founding directors.
I’m Becky, one of two co-founding directors here at Magpie. I am responsible for ‘delivery’ at Magpie. This is essentially our operations – making sure we have great people who are all motivated to do a great job. I ensure we have good systems and processes and everyone is communicating to one another effectively – if I do my job well, we have a happy team who have the right information at the right time in order to deliver meaningful marketing that gets results for clients, every time!
You’re most likely to find me…
All over the place! I might be hiding away in a booth writing up a comms strategy; reviewing creative work in the studio to ensure it is going to hit all the objectives within the brief; talking through all of our projects to ensure we have the right people on them and they have a good project plan; or having chats with the team to learn of different ways we can improve things, and get ever better.
The best part of my day is…
Either when I tick my top priority actions off my to-do list, or work with the team to figure out what the magic ingredient is to turn a good plan into a great plan.
Not your usual day in the office…
No two days are the same – I’m out seeing clients, doing talks at universities, working with everyone in the Magpie team, meeting other business owners to share experiences, oh and making sure our fruit bowl remains fully stocked!
